10 years of tydeo

Founded in Saint-Renan (29) and proudly marking its first decade, tydeo's achievements don't stop at the CES. With an impressive fundraising of 1.8 million euros and plans to hire 30 new talents by 2023, the company specializing in corporate video production is on an upward trajectory. Its customers include Decathlon, the Direction Générale de l'Armement and a host of SMEs and local authorities. In addition, a collaboration with a Las Vegas chocolate factory planning to set up in Qatar is under discussion.

CES was a phenomenal opportunity for tydeo, inviting them to an international space through the CPME. Julien Cabon describes the event as "amazing", a place where "the whole world is present". It was also a platform to promote their "mytydeo" application, which facilitates the exchange of smartphone videos with their professional editors.

The new tydeo platform

Currently, "mytydeo" contributes 20% of the company's sales. However, with a new subscription structure in sight, the application should soon make up the majority of their revenues. The ambition is to increase the company's sales to 3 million euros by 2023.

At the end of 2022, after raising €1.8 million, tydeo's capital welcomed new investors, including the Breizh Invest PME fund and Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet, founder of Priceminister. These investments should propel Tydeo towards profitability by the end of 2023 or early 2024.

Metavers and the future

tydeo, with offices across France, plans to hire a further 30 people in 2023, bringing their total headcount to 75. Julien Cabon stresses the importance of keeping talent in-house, with open-ended contracts guaranteeing unrivalled quality, backed by their ISO 9001 certification. In addition, Tydeo plans to improve training for its customers to perfect the video content transmitted via their application.

The future looks bright for tydeo, with a vision focused on "Metavers", where companies could potentially present their brand in virtual spaces.

Note: CPME stands for Confédération des petites et moyennes entreprises.
